If you’re an individual (contractor employee) who’ll work on a CPB Contractors New Zealand project, then you must successfully complete an induction before starting work.
Your company administrator will register you in the Contractor Safety Management system, where you’ll be booked into training if required. Once booked, you’ll be emailed details of your site induction.
Once logged in to the system, company administrators should select ‘Order cards’. To register and select a role for employees, they may need to upload documents like:
- Proof of identification (like a driver’s licence)
- Current medical documents
- Trade certificates
Once your administrator has registered and booked you into training, you’ll be emailed details about how to complete your induction.
At the successful completion of your induction, you’ll be issued a Contractor ID card for site access. You must carry this card with you on project sites at all times.
